GE Healthcare Acquires AI Alzheimer's Company Icometrix

GE Healthcare has entered into an agreement to acquire Icometrix, a Belgian company specializing in AI-driven brain imaging analysis. Icometrix develops solutions aimed at detecting side effects from novel Alzheimer's treatments. The company's Icobrain aria platform is an imaging solution designed to detect and quantify brain bleeding and swelling. This platform has received U.S. FDA approval and holds market approval in several European countries.
