    Medtech Investor David B. Singer Leads Maverick Ventures' Private Investments

    David B. Singer, Managing Partner at Maverick Ventures, spearheads the firm's private investment activities, concentrating on DNA sequencing tools, eCommerce, and digital health. His significant investment experience includes notable successes such as One Medical, a national primary care provider acquired by Amazon for $3.9 billion. Singer was also a founding investor in the proteomics company Seer, which successfully went public in 2020, and has invested in Devoted Health, a health insurance provider currently valued at $12.9 billion. Before joining Maverick, Singer served as the founding CEO of three companies: Affymetrix, a DNA sequencing equipment manufacturer, Genesoft, and Corcept Therapeutics. His distinguished career also encompasses extensive governance experience, having sat on the boards of 28 private companies, seven of which achieved public offerings during his tenure. Currently, he serves on the boards of Generate Security, Infleqtion, and LTK, and acts as an observer for Mon Ami and Collective Health. Furthermore, Singer holds the position of Vice Chair at College Track and is a lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
