Stratsys Enhances Security Product for NIS2 Compliance

Stratsys, a SaaS company, has launched an enhanced version of its information security product. This update is designed to offer organizations robust support for complying with the forthcoming NIS2 directive and the new Swedish cybersecurity law. The enhanced product will enable customers to meet the European Union's elevated information security demands in a structured and efficient manner. The NIS2 directive is anticipated to be transposed into Swedish law via the new Cybersecurity Act, which is proposed to take effect on January 1, 2026. This new legislation will broaden the scope of businesses subject to these regulations and assign clearer, more direct responsibility to management for ensuring cybersecurity and regulatory compliance. Furthermore, the law will impose stricter requirements concerning leadership accountability, supply chain security, and the implementation of specific security measures. David Wahlbeck, Chief Product Officer at Stratsys, highlighted that the company's existing product already serves numerous clients across both public and private sectors. Through these enhancements, Stratsys aims to empower management teams to act proactively.
